You could call this project the one that started it all. We moved into our current home in 2017. We wanted to transform a section of our basement for entertaining friends and family. We had difficulty finding a bar that was exactly what we wanted and fit the needs of our space. As a result, we put our heads together and designed the perfect solution. We tore up the carpet in this area and finished the floor with a rustic wood look tile. Phew! Was that a lot of hard work! We purchased cabinets for the floor behind where we wanted the bar. Mike built the shelving between these cabinets. We added a counter top. Then, Mike created these amazing LED lit shelves that fit perfectly above this counter. We updated an old refrigerator. It was when Mike decided to transform a wood slab for the bar top that he found his passion for this business. He built the base and we stained it to match the cabinets and shelving. He then transformed this slab into the masterpiece that completed our space. We love the final result!
